Repetitive Clicking Sound When Audio is Played

MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch Mid 2014

Whenever I try to play audio out of my MacBook Pro, a loud, repetitive clicking noise occurs, and it completely drowns out the audio I'm trying to play.

I have done multiple reboots, PRAM resets, Apple Hardware Tests (no problems found), and I have even tried spraying compressed air into the fan vent to see if there was some dust or something stuck in there.

I have had no luck whatsoever, and sometimes when I reboot the computer, there are no audio outputs in my sound preferences.

Any guesses as to what might be causing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I am praying that it isn't some sort of problem with the logic board because that would be a rather expensive repair.

If you have run AHT, it would indicate there is not a hardware issue with the logic board or speakers. I would recommend removing the bottom cover and removing both speakers, to see if there is dust or debris between the speaker and palmrest. Make sure the speaker dome is not pushed in too.

I opened the macbook up and cleaned dust and debris out. Speakers appeared to be normal. The clicking persists. Any other suggestions?

Feel the logic board to see if anything gets hot, especially the bottom right of the board, on the top. Beyond this, I wouldn't be too sure without having it in front of me, sorry :(
