seems to freeze everyday after first time download music
also how do i remove any virues and clean my ipod classic, tried to clean on itunes but itunes removed all music

The clean on iTunes is the best iPod clean you will find, it is meant to remove all your songs. I would suggest that if a clean doesn't solve it a new logic board may be needed. (For that price I would buy a new iPod)
