My tablet won't go past the "prestige" " Powered by Android" startup.

Visual Land Prestige Prime 10 ES With Keyboard

When I turn on my tablet it will not go past the Prestige

Powered by Android start up page. I've let it sit there for hours and nothing.

I've tried the reset button on the back and nothing. I've tried to hard reset with holding the volume+ and power button and nothing. I've tried holding volume+ first for 5 sec.then push power button and holding both for up to a min and a half and I get nothing! Help. Don't know what else to do.

It still doesn't work. I tried the down volume button and power button at the same time and nothing happens. The screen stays black.

No only does it not power up, but the battery doesn't appear to be charging after being connected to power for hours.

Tried the power and down volume buttons 3d android appears but nothing else. Tried using the down volume button anyway but nothing. Also tried rest button on the back of the tablet

tilamu123 , Try this, hold down the power button, and the Volume down buttons at the same time. Keep holding until you see a 3d android, lying on it's side.

Then use the volume down button, scroll down to either system reboot, or factory reset.

The reboot will just reboot your tablet and it should turn on and fix the problem the factory reset, will erase everything in the system. Use the factory reset if 1st reset did not fix. The factory reset will restore the tablets settings, remove SD card prior to reset. You can also check the trouble shooting link below for for more info. and step by step factory rest procedure. Good luck.

I tried this and it still doesn't work.

tilamu123, Did you try the factory/hard reset suggested if not try it now, if that does not work us the link below to disconnect the battery for an hour and reconnect it. Good luck with your device.

To hard reset your Visual Land Tablet, you need to follow the instructions below carefully.

1. Turn off the tablet.

2. Press and Hold Volume Up and Power button at the same time.

3. Keep holding the buttons till you see the start up screen.

4. Press Volume up five times when you see the android with an exclamation to reveal the recovery menu.

5. Since touch screen does not work on this mode use Volume and down to move on the menu and power button to select.

6. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.

7. Select Yes- Delete all user data.

8. After the wiping select Reboot System Now.

Same, stuck on powered by android. I've tried wipe cache, and user data, reboot. Nothing. Just still shows the same thing. Anymore ideas before I introduce hammer or axe?

Ive looked all over, and I think it means it is out of luck, it seems to be a scam by the company to make you pay for more fixings for it?

My Visual Land Prestige Elite 9Q did this and i held the Volume up + the volume down + the power button until the recovery screen came on then i wiped the cache then wiped all user data. Then rebooted the system and my tablet came back to life.

I did that an it just took me to the powder by android screen. My child had not had this tablet a month an now it won't go past this screen. Help please
