Oxygen sensor location for bank 1

I have a 2000 Mazda 626 LX 2.0 4cyl. I am wanting to know how many oxygen sensor's I have in total. As well as where they are all located. I have replace a sensor and it's my backflow and we can'tfind it at all behind the catalytic converter, which is where it should be. My code is coming up bank 1.

Nicole Schrader, Some times exhaust system are changed with aftermarket parts or modified and sometimes the O2 sensor locations can change or by some eliminated at times. You should have 2 oxygen sensors on the North America 2000 Mazda 626 LX 2.0 4cyl engines exhaust, up steam sensor 1 bank 1 will be the front sensor located in the exhaust manifold normally or in short pipe between exhaust manifold and catalytic converter. The 2nd sensor down stream O2 sensor bank 1, sensor 2 will be located in the short pipe exiting the converter or in the rear of converter. Links below may help. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I have had same problem. it is more of the line your catalytic converter is bad. I changed mine and am no longer getting a bank 1 sensor read on the computer. for your second question there is 3 to 4 on the 626. all in plain site if you look under car. and on or near manifolds.
