Why does my camera say Err on the view finder
When I go to take a picture it says Err but after a few attempts to take a picture it will eventually capture a photo.

Hi,
"Err" usually means an electronic fault within the camera (or lens in rare circumstances). Sometimes that can be as simple as a build up of static charge, and removing and reinstalling the battery, or doing a system reset, will often cure the problem.
