Nissan March 2005 ECU computer problem?

Hi , I'm just wondering how much will it cost to repair my Nissan March 2005 , I took it in to the body shop to do some repairs on my back bumper. , my car was working well driving good apart from the bumped part were it was crashed , I get car back as they probably weld on it or something an the car now while driving if u put it on Drive it works but it don't drive as normal , it's drives like a turtle ??? Help pls ?? I was told by a mechanic as they scanned it maybe the ECU computer or something ???

Missy , The mechanic you took it to should have gave you an estimate as he was the one doing the diagnosing. If the car was fine before taking it to the body shop and you know they were using a type of electric welding(Mig/Arc) to do repair on car and they failed to unhook the battery, this quite possibly could have damaged the computer/ECU putting a surge through it. So if the car is diagnosed with bad computer you may also want to talk to the body shop owner/manager about the problem and see if you can work out a solution. Good luck.
