phone restarts when pressing homebutton

hey people. i have this phone with several issues. wifi diden't work, no service, touch dissease and the homebutton dident work most of the time. 1/10 i did work. i,m pretty sure i reballed all the chips fine! wifi, service and touch works 100% now i replaced the home button. but when i press it now, the phone will restart. pretty weird i never experienced this before. should this be the homebutton ic? the phone had no waterdamage.. i also restored the phone but no errors

i fixed this by replacing the : i dont know how to call it.. the metal plate on the back side of the screen. so it was the flex cable. the joints weren't shiny anymore..

That would be called the home button extension cable.
