Switches off on full charge
my irulu expro x4 runs great while charging or fully charged. but when the charger is unplugged it immediately switches off.

Thats a faulty battery where its not holding its charge.
It will say its charged but the cells are damaged so soon as you disconnect the battery it will shut off.
