I have used the 900mb download update for reinstallation twice it works but only for a day or 2 days if im lucky then it sends me right back to a black screen saying cannot start the ps4 then on to say connect usb that contains update for reinstallation. How do i fix this problem cause downloading games takes forever i get poor service where i live. Please help...

Launching the PlayStation in safe mode on its own will not fix this, I have had this problem occur multiple times and have learned that there is no sure fire way to fix it. Following the instructions that the ps4 gives you (using usb etc) almost never works check other forums if you don't believe me. Now onto some of the handful of ways I have fixed or papered over the cracks until the next time it happens
1 disconnect the power completely, clean, wait and try again
2 launch in safe mode and update the ps4
3 launch in safe mode and try all of the other options leaving initialise ps4 till last because that will wipe everything from your PlayStation
If none of these options work well then your probably buggered sorry, best bet after that is send to a technician or get a new 1 which kinda sucks I know
You would think given the amount of people having this problem that PlayStation Sony would adress the issue with a guaranteed way of fixing it seeing as how they built it and understand exactly what's happening but no just a bunch of semi to unhelpful forum posts and silence on behalf of Sony

You need a new hard drive. Your PS4 won’t let you initialize your current hard drive because it is faulty. So, you need to buy a new hard drive and then reinstall the system software on the playstation website.
