I need to replace the cable and I've been looking for one online....

@tonictinsk apparently there are a few version of the cable out there. This one is the long version for the SCPH-79001 version which will also work with the European SCPH-79003 version.
It is possible that the first cable would work if you trim it, but I'd be careful with that since you do not know if any wires are crossing etc You will need to know the spacing between the wires to fit your connector. You can of course always try it out and let us know if it worked. You'd only be out a few £

@oldturkey03 can confirm first cable works after trimming it down! very relieved as it required a lot of patience. The cable is quite long aswell so had to tape it down.
