The iPod 4 Retina display uses technology called IPS (in-plane switching) — the same technology used in the Apple LED Cinema Display and iPad — to achieve a wider viewing angle than on typical LCD

@oldturkeyo3 Um, you got it wrong, mate, no offence. :)
iPod Touch 4 sure has the Retina Display as the iPhone 4 has, but not the same IPS technology, but the TN which does NOT provide a wide viewing angle. Like, eg, take a picture of something dull black, and then view it from an angle: you'll notice the display goes bluish.
But do the same for an iPhone 4, and you'll notice the difference.
