Can I put an s8 camera on my s7?

I heard that the s8 and that the s7 have the same camera. My camera works except that the lens cracked and now the camera has water damage and the pictures are grainy. I already going to take the phone apart to fix because the screen is cracked so I might as well change the camera. There are no s7 cameras on here but there are s8 cameras on here. They look pretty much the same so I don't know why there would be a problem with doing so. Can I replace my s7 camera with an s8 camera?
