William Emerson excellent write up about the how-to on here. Definitely not an easy job. I would also recommend that if you need more information on this extensive task, visit your local library and see if they have the manual.

Thank you for your help, I have a 1999 3 door Saturn 5speed Manuel trans, mine is broken looking for another one
William Emerson not sure where you are located. I would connect with a local recycler. I guess that's what they call the wrecking yards now. Even if they do not have it they can probably find one for you.
