Not exactly sure what Eric is using here but I find 3M two sided tape works well in this application

I just recently replaced battery and screen(after breaking screen during battery repair). I used double sided tape to hold the screen together. Anything on amazon would probably work, I prefer you get 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm width pack cause the 1-2mm works great for the side bezel while the 2-3mm works good for the top and bottom. Works great except for the lower part where the fingerprint scanner is. I can't get a precise measurement but it seems like the tape is 0.25mm thick, as in the height. This was too thin for the lower part. It would separate and I would see the light bleed out the sides, so I had to double up the tape to get the bottom to stick.
