Why’s is the brush at not spinning?
The brush bar no longer spins when I try to use the vacuum as a stand up
Update (12/31/2017)
I did. And I took apart the housing. My guess is it is the motor that needs to be replaced

I have the same issue except with it happened without any misuse. Did anyone ever find a solution outside of replacing the brush bar motor?

Unfortunately, there is no belt on the drive with this thing.

There's a button next to the power button. That turns the brush on/off... but you already knew that.

I have a similar issue, but the brush bar motor appears good (I applied current to it when removed). I'm getting no power from the attachment port on the vacuum so the issue is farther up.
My problem occurred when someone used it as a shop vac and sucked up water with it, so what would be the likely next thing to fail? The suction vacuum still works fine.
At this point I figure it's a bad brush bar switch, a bad upright sensor switch, a broken wire somewhere, or perhaps a transformer on the circuit board gone bad from exposure.

I have the same problem but someone used it and over loaded the canister so badly that I a very hard time cleaning it out. I took apart the brush assembly and cleaned it up. Still doesn't work.
