All I know is that I put all of my some oddly bought or came across, collection of #2 and #3 bits together. I gathered a pretty good variety of different types of screws I could get together. Sheet rock coarse thread for wood, fine thread for 25 gauge metal, cutter screws for 18 gauge steel studs and different different sizes #6,#8 and you know. Sex bolt screws, wooden and metal commercial door hardware and closers, wooden timber sills, a variety of anchors for walls, brick etc., auto trim, square head wood screws, sheet metal, AC, plumbing, electrical,………. You get the picture.
E Z Power #2 and CR-V PH2 and PH3, pretty much came out on top about, 85-90 percent of the time with Ryobi, DeWalt, Milwaukee, in that order, filling in the gaps.
Using vice grips to hold the bit and “feel” how tight the bit feels in each screw. Slippage and difficulty of drilling and pushing in, to hold the screws while being torqued up.
Experience counts, no matter how you get it, even from someone else.

+ for another really difficult question. I have searched all over and can find no reference to that screwdriver bit. I do believe from what I find that you are correct in assuming that PH2 stands for phillips head 2. Good luck in your quest.
