Battery doesn’t work and screen is cracked.
My battery isn’t working, as the laptop has to be plugged in for the laptop to work. Also, the screen is severely cracked.

@herbalex download the manual from here. They call it an Owner's Manual but lucky for us Dell adds their replacement procedures to that manual. Page 60 will tell you how to replace the display and page 25 shows how to remove the battery.
