cracked look in screen
my laptop has a layer that looks cracked not top layer it was leaned on

If you are not planning on replacing an LCD connect an external monitor using a VGA cable for output or if your TV has a VGA connector then you can even get the output on your TV.
You can buy a replacement LCD from eBay and take it to a local electrician and have it replaced for you
