Why can't people hear me when I call them

Try using the earphones with the microphone attachment on either an i/c or o/g call to check if you can be heard OK.

If you still cannot be heard when using the earphones with the microphone attachment then there is a problem with the voice transmission circuitry on the systemboard.

If you can be heard OK when using the earphones with the microphone attachment, then there is either a problem with the phone's internal microphone or the voice inlet hole (small hole found on bottom edge of the phone) may be blocked with lint or dust.

To check the latter option, use a strong light and a magnifying glass to see if the hole appears blocked at all.

If it is or if you can't be sure, try a vacuum cleaner, using short sharp bursts, to see if you can clear the obstruction.

DO NOT use a probe to try and clear the voice inlet hole as the microphone is directly behind it and it may be damaged by doing this

If it is still not working correctly after this then the microphone is either faulty or has become disconnected from the systemboard
