Do I need to replace the display?

Hello , before a month my jack caught betweeen my screen and a little crack happened.Since then my display has some horizontal lines in some points.If i push a little bit the spot they disappear , that is what i did yesterday but the result was not only they didnt disappear but now there i aslo a flickering line at the bottom .I dont have applecare .Only the 1year guarantee.Please help my i am very desperate i dont have the money to buy a new screen, anything temporary could help. thanks in advance.Here a phot of the flickering bottom

You'll need a new screen, no other solution I'm afraid. Pushing on it will sometimes temporarily make lines appear/disappear, this is just due to how the LCDs are made, and you won't be able to permanently fix it by putting pressure on it

how much will it cost could you send me a link? also if I keep the screen till summer a) will it affect the rest mac b) will the prices fall ?

A1706 and A1708 assemblies are different; they work but the hinge ribbons which go over the hinge plastic are different (won't screw into the other model), so I would recommend checking which one they are selling.

Prices will probably not drop anytime soon looking at the rising prices of other assemblies due to Apple cutting down on this. I would recommend getting one from Aliexpress, a lot cheaper
