The Chevrolet Silverado, and its mechanically identical cousin, the GMC Sierra, is a series of full-size and heavy-duty pickup trucks manufactured by General Motors and introduced in 1999 as the successor to the long-running Chevrolet C/K line. The Silverado name was taken from a trim level previously used on the C/K pickup truck from 1975 through 1998.

temperature sensor on the passenger side of 2005 Chevrolet Silverado

My passenger side vents are blowing hot air when the AC is running & fully set on cold. The trick of removing a battery cable works as many times as it fails. A parts store man said there are 3 sensors beneath the dash and a simple lubrication spay wight work. Where they actually located and how do I get to them?

Spraying your sensors with lube won't do anything. I suspect he meant 3 actuators, which power the flaps for hot and cold air, direction and demisting. The lube inside these often dry out, leaving them prone to incorrect working conditions. Try this YouTube link, as it tells you where they are and how to fix them.
