Kenwood kr 5200 stereo receiver will not produce any sound.

There is no sound coming from the speakers. I have checked all the wiring and tested the speakers on another system and they worked.

There is no sound on all functions: phono, radio, auxillary (computer connections).

I tried using different wiring set ups on A, B and C.

No sound.

No sound at all is usually caused by a problem with the pre and main amp. Use your multimeter and follow along the power-in path. Start with the fuse on the transformer as well as your 7V AC line. Make sure that you have continuity on those. Then measure the voltages on your transformer. Remember that the voltages on the transformer are AC, set your meter accordingly. After that check the transistor Qj1~4 on the preamp and the transistors Qe1~14, resistors Re31,32 on the main amp unit. If you have trouble with any of this, post plenty of good images of your boards with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that
