Replace severed ribbon cable.
I tried repairing my camera (Sony DSC-HX50) lense and severed a ribbon cable. Is there a way to find a replacement or do i need to buy a completely new lense? I was actually really carefull but it is one of those ribbon cables that you have to pull out with force and I used a toothpick to release the pressure on the contact. Once it got out it seems to have been ripped out the other side. I didn't even feel any resistance at all.
