my Iphone 6 is not charging. I am not sure if the problem is the battery or the dock connector.
I have a broken screen ipad mini 1. I was wondering If i can take dock connector from ipad mini 1 and test it on iphone 6.
Could someone tell me if that is ok.

No, the charging port flex is completely different from other devices.
iPad mini 1 has a soldered charging flex to the logic board while the iPhones all have different connectors for the charging port and aren't soldered to the logic board.

An easy fix could be fluff in the port, get some tweezers and scrape any crap out. Just be carefull not to damage the pins inside.
