T.V. Stop Coming On

After one yr. of purchasing a Samsung flat screen it stop coming on. When I point the remote the power indicator just turns red but no picture or sound. I put new batteries in the remote same thing I even tried turning it on manually same thing just a red light no picture. Is it fixable?
