'''++Recardo Grady++''' Code 0304 is a continuous misfire code for cylinder #4. #4 is the rear cyl. on the pass. side. Causes can be a bad coil or a loss of fuel in that cyl. Depending on what size engine your vehicle has, one has the coil-on-plug system while the other does not. On a 5.4L which has the coil-on-plug #4 coil is prone to failure due to water in the plug well from the heater hose that runs above it. Of course it could also be a clogged injector etc. Start with the coil…..The cost for the repair will depend on what you find during your trouble shooting.

Based on what you've explained, to me it sounds like you may have a worn-out spark plug, ignition wires, or a vacuum leak somewhere in your vehicle. I would inspect cylinder #4's spark plug and wiring for any physical damage. Try a replacement spark plug to see if that fixes the problem. If not, I would recommend taking it to your mechanic for further investigation.
