My screen is showing black dots and vertical lines

I was babysitting and my little cousin hit my screen and a white dot appeared last week and it has now taken over more than half of my screen with while lines , colorful lines, black dots . And when i move my screen or press on the back of my laptop it goes back to normal but never stays. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to pay to get it done but its starting to look like it . What is wrong ?
