Sounds like it is an issue with the power supply board inside the tv. A capacitor or more may be blown out. Finding parts to repair this kind of tv might be difficult to find. I suggest purchasing a new television.

@nitengail it contiously turns on and off and on etc. Or it just turns on then off (one time)?
