How to put back the plastic connector for the power/volume cable?

So I was replacing the battery for my MotoX 2nd gen and while removing the power button cable I accidentally removed the white plastic little switch connector that fixes it to the phone.

Now I improvised some cloth pieces to make the necessary pressure to make it (kind of) work.

Is there any tip or tutorial I could follow to put it back?
