water spilled MacBook won't charge. it does see the battery

so water spilled on this computer. it will detect the battery, and magsafe will look like it's charging with the orange light but battery remains at 0% (even though battery could be charged 100%) I have the skill to repair the logic board but I need some help in pinpointing where the issue is. any ideas?

Can you tell me where you found the short and the procedure you used to solve the problem? I have a very similar issue. The battery is recognized and the MagSafe looks as if it's fully charged (green light), but the screen says "Not Charging." Battery is at 0mAh.

Can you supply a picture of the logic board between the LCD connector and the tester pins? I don't have the logic board anymore but the symptoms you're describing are the same I had.

I managed to repair the board! I scanned it for a bit trying to find burnt IC's or perhaps broken lines until I finally spotted the short. Jumped and computer is back to life. Not bad for $150 :)

what I mean by jumped (jumpered) the connection - basically replace the broken line by soldering a wire from one area on the logic board to another therefore completing the connection. I need a close up picture to pin point where to jumper since I don't have this logic board anymore.

That would not work. It would be like turning on your auto ignition switch and engaging the starter motor and not letting it go.
