Laserjet P3015 Factory Reset?

I am trying to perform a factory reset on a Laserjet P3015 printer.  After I go to Configure Devices- Resets- Factory Reset Settings- OK.  It doesn't reset the printer. It retains the current static IP address.  I have power cycled the printer.

 What am I missing?

Not entirely sure, but you can link a laptop and the printer by Ethernet directly. And set your laptops Ethernet adaptor to the same IP range to log in and change the static IP to either DHCP or the correct range for your network

as for the device not factory resetting correctly, try directly connecting to it, and updating its firmware
