BB Passport won't turn on after battery replacement.

My mom’s BlackBerry Passport battery died a few weeks ago. I want to get the photos that are stored in it. The phone used to turn on for a few minutes after charging for at least two hours, and then turn off again. All the repair shops that I took it to, told me I needed to replace the battery and they didn’t have any. I bought one and replaced it after watching the teardown video that is posted on this page. I think all went well during the disassembly and assembly, but now the phone wont turn on at all. No led light turns on when i try to charge it. How do i charge the new battery? What could i possibly do wrong? Please help! Thanks in advance :D.
