Lumia 950 shutting down abruptly
Lumia 950 is shutting down abruptly. Perhaps some loose connection with battery. How to identify the root cause and solve the problem?

I had this problem, I put a small piece of foil from a encapsulated pill sheet and wedged it between the battery and the body at opposite end to terminals. seems to have done the trick.

Thanks Philips! But I think the problem was the battery itself. Due to heating, the battery gets damaged and then the phone starts behaving abruptly. Changing the battery did the trick! I have been using the new batter for the last 1 year and the experience has been great!
As to why putting a foil or a paper around the battery may seem to work initially is because the heating affects the link between the connectors and battery itself, putting pressure may seem to work but it fails eventually as heat increases even slightly after use.

Battery is removable. If you want to open motherboard, then you need philips scredriver. I suggest you buy a complete set and see what works. All screws are identical.
