How to transfer data between tablets

I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy tab 4. 10.5 and wish to transfer the data/photos from a Samsung Galaxy tab2. 10 1. Could please advise best course of action.

Yes, you are right. You can use Samsung Smart Switch or coolmuster mobile transfer to transfer data/photos between your two Samsung tablets.
