1 Color ink not printing?
The black ink prints fine but nothing for the colored one. I replaced brand new cartridge but no color comes out. When I checked the supply level, it says Genuine HP color ink and show full bars. Is the printer dying? New OS X won’t print in color? Anyone knows what the issue might be?

Hi @iwizmod ,
Do you get colour when copying directly from the printer's control panel?
Can you verify what is the OS of the computer connected to the printer?
Have you checked the printer settings in the computer to ensure that it is set to colour printing and not black and white?

I did a lot of research regarding this problem before posting here...including "Photo Copy" directly from the printer. I'm running OSX Mojave on my desktop and High Sierra on laptop. I even resetted all printer settings and re-added the printer. I double checked to make sure it prints in color and not gray scale.
So my last resort: ordered another ink cartridge and test it out again. This would be my third cartridge...if this doesn't work, then this printer is only use for b&w printing...bummer.

Did you do a printer alignment when you replaced the cartridges?

No, I did not perform a printer alignment...I usually don't when replacing a cartridge. I recently placed the black one and did not do an alignment...but I can try it now...
The page comes out in black and white too. I also scanned the printed page for the alignment. Then did a photo copy directly from the printer but still no colored ink...so sad!
My new ink arrives tomorrow...

I got my new ink cartridge and tried it. Looks like it’s printing in color again but not very vivid. Perhaps the previous cartridge was faulty.
I’m happy this printer still works!
