MacBook Pro Operated in Cold Air
I just noticed when I plug my MacBook Pro ( 15" mid 2012).
It boots from 500GB SATA SSD and has a secondary Hard Disk ( non-SSD).
When I plug it in, it automatically attempt to boot, but shuts down; and then it makes constantly very faint clicking sound!
when It is on the battery and start it while press "option' key, it goes up to showing my boot options ( disk, Macintosh HD, CD-Rom, Bootcamp windows). But then it does not turn on for few hours, until I repeat the same thing!

My poor MBP was working for around 8 hours in the cold weather ( 32-50 degree Fahrenheit). I suspect it has something to do with its battery or the SSD or the HDD! When I press on the battery button ( on the side ), all the 7 little LED lights up. should I assume the battery is functional? It is obviously non-removable one.
I did manage to get the backup using the Time machine last week and the fan was working fine!
If I buy and install a new SSD with the same specifications will that work?
I just checked the logic board and it looks pretty clean! I also checked the thermal paste it OK. I did apply it last week. Please see the images for the front and back of the logic board.

Update (12/28/2018)
I did power it on without the keyboard. Same issue. The clicking noise is back on. I decided to open it up and see the power assembly. It seemed there are stains on it. I cleaned it up with air spray. Here are the pictures of that:
I would like to do a short power-on pads on logic board. But I don't know where they are! Do you know what conductive tool(s) I can use to do that, please?
Bu iyi bir soru mu?
