Hi,

Just checking that you pressed Fn +F5 to toggle the display between the internal, external and both screens on together to see if you get a display anywhere?

If you don't get a display at all, then you have a GPU or motherboard problem

@jayeff I am the same guy you are speaking with the Sony Vaio, I have the same problem here. But this laptop does not have a flickering screen. It doesn't open at all.

Hi,

OK

Same deal with display or not in BIOS

If there is a display in BIOS try starting the laptop in safe mode and check if the display works.

If it does you have a driver problem or startup problem.

If there is no display in BIOS or safe mode here's a link to a video so that you can check the LVDS cable connections etc, as per the other answer

Hi, the problem could be maybe that the RAM modules are dirty, so you should clean the gold bars with an eraser carefully, and then connect it again, if it doesn’t work, try blowing the sockets .

If that doesn’t work, I hope you don’t broke any important component, but don’t worry, first try some tips from internet.
