Are white and black screens for iPad Air interchangeable?

Have a cracked black screen iPad Air can I replace with a white touch screen? Like look of white better.

So they are interchangeable then ?

I can replace a cracked black screen with a new white instead ? Sounds simple but I just want to make sure all the wiring is the same b4 I do it. Thanks for your help
