How to repair half screen on laptop

My laptop has a half screen and its not showing any images. But it works when i use external monitor. How can i fix it?

Sadly when only half a screen is visible this tells me the display has become damaged. You’ll need to replace the display assembly here’s the guide Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Display Panel Replacement
