not powering on at all
my instax mini 8 is not powering on at all.. ive read every forum and changed the batteries but nothing is working. no light or anything. please help

Camera will not turn on
Lens not functioning
The lens unit might be stuck. Use the lens release switch to extend the lens. Make sure there is an opening through the lens when viewed from behind. Please refer to our Lens unit replacement guide if the lens unit ceases to function.
General I/O board malfunctions
The camera lens should pop out once the lens release switch is triggered, and a light should appear on the aperture ring to show that the camera is ready to shoot.

Press the shutter button repeatedly and then turn on right after, you will notice that it will make the sound, the sound it makes when it turns on. This worked.
