iPhone 7 Stuck on DFU mode tried restore got error 9 on itunes error

So was using my iphone 7 normaly sudenly it shut down and got stuck on dfu mode.

Tried restor in itunes on two different laptops gives me error 9 on 3uTools gives me error -1.

Im not sure is it nand or something else!!??

depending on how bad the device was damaged ive heard its due to the nand chips becoming desoldered from the mobo. i would first try multiple different cables or even a charge port just plugged into the board to see if it will restore. if that doesn’t do it try again with a different computer and updated software. if all else fails it might need to be looked at by a solder tech.

It would be more likely the baseband chip / baseband PMU / audio IC chip that develops loose solder joints to the board. Well to be exact the pads on the edge of the chip become broken off.

Error -9 and -1 will mean that board level repair needs to be done to fix the phone. But definitely do try the software fixes first as mentioned above.

@benjamen50 crap, i forgot those had the baseband ic and audio ic issues as well. i've seen it too many times before but have always managed to get them to restore one way or another.

Error 9 actually stand for the Nand. Check the all pad below nand,related capacitor area near it and reinstall the nand and check.Sometime you have to use another nand too by reprogram by the correct information.
