Does getting a screen replacement fixes the digitizer?

Basically, my friend threw my Samsung Galaxy S8 in the pool [Pool around 0.3m deep] (because I splashed water at him...) and the digiziter of my S8 stopped working so I used Bixby to navigate through the phone. Everything of that phone is fine but just the OLED panel and the digitizer. Sometimes, the screen will suddenly flicker to green colour and it will just go ‘crazy’. (Suspected water damage) I’m thinking of getting a screen replacement but I am not sure wether the problems I mentioned above will be fixed. Help.
