Can I swap iPod hhd without losing music?
have a gen 7 with dead logic board, can I put hard drive in another gen 7 without losing music on drive? not backed up and don’t have music saved anywhere.

Yes, if you take the hard drive out of the broken iPod, and put it into the new one all of your music and data will still be there

does it have to be the same generation for it to work?
i would get the same generation just to be safe
