HD not powering up

I have four WD External HDD’s that are dead. I am wondering if there is any place I can send them in to get the data recovered and put onto a new HDD. I live on an island far away from any computer tech’s and just want to send them in somewhere possibly in Canada.

You may try various steps to make them work or find out for availablility of professional services locally or nearest possible from the internet

There can be many reasons that can affect the performance of your external hard drive. Some of these can be:

  • An outdated WD passport driver.
  • A power supply problem
  • A corrupted or broken drive
  • macOS do not support the drive
  • NTFS read-only problem
  • A damaged USB cable
