Is the keyboard from a 14" model compatible with the 12"?

Can I use the keyboard from a 14" model with a 12" iBook? Or are the connectors different somehow?

The plug is the same, and it will work, however due to the cable being longer, you'll have to sort of fold and smash it underneath. For the most part this works acceptably, but sometimes over time keys stop working, etc., due to the folded cable and the wires getting crimped/cracked.

So yes, with a little bit of trouble, it does work.
