Phone stuck in boot loop and occasionally turns on to just freeze?

Hi, I have a customers iPhone 8 and really am stuck on it. I replaced the battery in hopes the freezing and boot looos would go away but they still are there. Right now I am doing a recovery update don’t think it’s going to work. Any other suggestions?

Is there any damage to the home button or screen you can see? With certain versions of iOS, if the home button is damaged, it can cause bootlooping

My best guess would be to back up the data and do a DFU through 3utools. See if it pops up with an error.
