Why does my Siemens dishwasher start for 3 seconds and then sit idle
Hi,
I bought this dishwasher with the house in 2004, it’s an integrated machine and I can’t find the model number unfortunately.
whenever I start it, it seems to run for about 3/4 seconds and then stops making the noise as if it’s now sitting idle. Tried to leave it to see if it’d go again but it just sits there.
never had a problem with the machine before so any advice would be much appreciated.
dont use it often and already checked salt and rinse aid levels, cleared the filter and left it sitting off for an hour to try reset it

Usually Siemens dishwasher model numbers can be found on the top of the door or machine door jamb at the top of the machine.
The E-Nr , the Fd and Z-Nr will help to identify your exact model.
Having the correct model number will ensure that the correct parts may be found if they are required.
Can you hear if water is flowing into the machine when it is first started?
