New screen not responding

My iPhone 11 screen cracked and I bought a screen to repair myself. I installed the screen and did a test. The screen turns on normal but does not respond to touch at all and had a message saying Apple detected “non genuine” parts. I could not figure it out so I put the old screen back on to see if it fixed the issue and the cracked screen worked as normal. The new screen works fine it’s just not responsive to touch. What could the issue be? I had iOS 13.1 when I installed the screen.
