GE Profile refrigerator won’t cool

I have an older GE Profile side by side refrigerator. Neither the fridge nor the freezer are cooling as before. On Sunday they were at 35 degrees and zero respectively. Yesterday they spiked to 50 and 37 degrees. Any ideas?

What is the model number of the refrigerator?

Is the compressor motor running?

If not, are the lights working in the refrigerator?

If not, have you checked that the wall power outlet that the refrigerator is connected to is working by plugging in a hair dryer etc to the wall outlet and checking that it works OK?
