iPhone 11 REBOOT LOOP - THERMALMONITORD

Dear all,

I have some trouble with my iphone 11, this one reboot 2 or 3 minutes after starting. If i don’t use it after the starting, this one doesn’t reboot…. (I have replace the rear glass this one worked fine before replacement)

I try to :

Restore and Update iOS : No result !

Try to disconnect all accessoiries on the logic board : No result !

When i go to the log files, it look like one of the sensor is missing and make the phone reboot !

reason" : "(1 monitored services unresponsive): checkin with service: thermalmonitord returned not alive with context:\nis_alive_func returned unhealthy : current 3fe3bfffffffffff, mask 1ffffffffffff, expected 1ffffffffffff. Missing sensor(s): mic2 \nno successful checkins since wake (120 seconds ago)",

Do you know where is the sensor ? « MIC2 » Wich flex need to be replace ?

If you want i can share you the log files.

Thanks in advance,

 Best regards

I have same issue .Replaced power flex checked the microphone, it is working fine but mobile restarts after 120 seconds.Did your problem solved after changing lighting connector ?

tarafından

I had this issue the only way to fix it is to replace it with an original cable from another phone, these part replacements you use from China won’t work. Depending on the error you either need to replace the power button/flash light flex or the charging port

tarafından

Thanks man , I had the same log " Missing sensor(s): mic2 \nno successful checkins since wake (120 seconds ago) " I used china power button /flash/mic flex and issue is not resolved yet.I think that would be the issue in my case.

Replaced power button flex cable and all goes well and my error was: Missing sensor(s): mic2

hey, can you do me a favour? take off the lightning connector and boot, then check what sensors are reported missing. I keep getting "missing sensor(s): Prs0" but I don't know where Prs0 is, already got a new $100 battery but that didn't fix it, prs0 is still reported as missing

tarafından

Did you find a fix ? I am getting prs0

tarafından

PRS0 is Pressure Sensor which is on Charging port. Charging port must be connected when powering on... it will not pass check and reboot after 180 sec

Hello I have this same probably. Can I Know the exact part you replaced. I mean the name as I would like to purchase it.

tarafından

Original parts speically power button and charging both must be connected to avoid restart iphone 11 after 2:55 sec or 3 mints spent a day to figure it out

Mic 2 is the power flex cable.

Mic 1 is the charging port.

Simply removing/unplugging will still give the same error (missing sensor) because it is missing if it's unplugged.

Youll have to replace with a genuine pull, or high quality replacement.

Open the phone, plug the new power button flex to test, then install.

I just had this same issue with a water damaged iPhone 11, panic showed error on sensor prs0 but the problem was in the volume flex due to rust and shorted i2c1 lines in the same connector.

Hey Guys I got a similar Problem. I changed the damaged Backhousing with a cheap one (China, pre installed Lightning+Power+Louder+Antenna Flexes) of a Iphone 11 and got the same issue, restart after 180sec.

In the Paniclog there was the missing sensor Mic2. So I bought a Original Power-Flex from ebay, but this was not the solution. Could the new one also be faulty?

Should i also replace the other pre installed flexes? Or could it be the Motherboard?

I had the similar problem still currently going on. My phone got seriously water damaged and they replaced the camera, board, speaker flex and screen and it still keeps rebooting, how is this gonna be rectified?

tarafından

@Shian Ramdial, what error are you getting in the panic log? You need to identify which sensor is causing the reboot before you can determine what needs to be fixed.

tarafından

I believe they think it’s the power button flex what’s causing the rebooting
